Downloads checked first
Files are scanned for viruses inside the sandbox. Programs, macro documents and password-locked archives never reach you.

NewTV.dev is a thin layer over E2B sandboxes. Everything the homepage does is available over HTTP.

How NewTV.dev works
Getting started
The bar on the homepage does three things:
- Type a website like
example.comto open it safely. - Type anything else to search.
- Press or to run Python or shell commands instead.
The microphone lets you speak instead of typing (in browsers that support it).
Browsing
Websites open on a separate computer in the cloud. You see and control the page as a live picture, so nothing from the site runs on your device. Use the bar at the top to go somewhere else, and Close when you're done.
Downloads
Anything you download lands on the cloud computer first and is checked for viruses. Safe files appear in the side panel with a Save button. These are always blocked:
- Files that contain a virus
- Programs and installers (
.exe,.dmg,.apk…) - Office files with macros
- Password-locked archives, since they can't be checked
Blocked sites
Known dangerous sites — malware, phishing and scams — are stopped before they load, and listed in the side panel. In approved-sites mode, only the sites on your list open at all.
Running code
Press to write Python, or for shell commands. Each run gets a brand-new sandbox with no internet, which is deleted as soon as it finishes. Runs stop after 30 seconds.
Privacy
Each session is a fresh machine. Cookies, history, logins and downloads are erased the moment you close it, or after 15 minutes.
Limits
- Sessions last up to 15 minutes.
- There's no sound yet, and pages can feel slightly slower than a normal browser.
- NewTV.dev protects your device, not your password: never type it into a site you don't trust.
